Meet your photographer

Hi, I’m Sasha — photographer, trail walker, and fire-walker (yes, really).

For the past decade, I lived and worked in Los Angeles, where I photographed everything from film & TV sets to celebrity portraits. I learned how to bring out the best in people — whether they were seasoned actors or stepping in front of the camera for the first time. These days, I bring that same calm, confident energy to portrait sessions here in Adelaide, helping everyday people feel like stars in their own story.

Photography’s always been part of my story. I started in music videos and short films, drawn to the challenge of bottling someone’s spirit on camera. Super 8mm was my first love — grainy, dreamy, and full of character.

Seventeen years on, I still chase that kind of magic. I find beauty in real moments — laughter, stillness, vulnerability — and I love crafting images that feel like you, only elevated.

When I’m not shooting, I’m either hiking a trail (ask me about the 234-mile John Muir Trail), swimming with sharks (on purpose!), or wandering into a new pub somewhere in the world. I’m grateful for a life built on creativity and curiosity — and I can’t wait to bring that spirit to our shoot.

What It’s Like to Work Together

When you reach out I like to start simple. We’ll chat about location ideas, what to wear and talk about the overall vibe you’re aiming for in your photographs. We’ll plan for things to be perfect, but will be flexible, knowing it’s the unplanned moments that creates the real magic in your photographs.

My aim then is to create a relaxed environment where you can just be yourself My job is to create a space where you can relax, be yourself, and forget the camera is even there.

We’ll hang out, talk and let the photographs come naturally, because the best images are captured when you’re simply enjoying the moment. When you look back on these photos, I not only want you to see how great you look look, but to remember how much fun you had capturing them.

Whether you’re after scroll-stopping headshots, classic portraits with polish, branding images that actually feel like you, or photos that capture the love, chaos, and joy of your family or event — I’ll help you show up with confidence and come away with images that feel true, fresh, and unforgettable.

You don’t need to be “good” at photos. You just need to show up — and I’ll take care of the rest.
